S. David Simpson - Personal Injury, Workers' Compensation and Business Law Attorney

S. David Simpson was born in Galesburg, Illinois. He received his undergraduate degree from Western Illinois University in 1967 and his law degree from Washburn University (cum laude) in 1975. He concentrates his practice in the areas of civil litigation, commercial litigation, personal injury, workers’ compensation and commercial transactions.
Dave served as a pilot in the U.S. Air Force from 1968-1972. He is a member of the Knox County Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association and the American Bar Association. He is also a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association.
Dave has served on numerous municipal and civic boards. He served as a member and Chairman of the Galesburg Cottage Hospital Health Care Systems Board of Trustees and was a member of the Board of Trustees for the Spoon River Community Mental Health Center (now Bridgeway) from 1978 to 1993. He is a trustee of the Police Pension Fund and has also served on the Board of Directors of the Galesburg Area Chamber of Commerce, the Galesburg Regional Economic Development Association and the Prairie Council, Boy Scouts of America.
